SAVE LEWIS!
This is Lewis. He is a kitty that lives the next town over from us. Although we haven't met him, Lewis is pretty popular (You might have heard about him on CNN). Lewis supposedly scratched some people and "attacked" the Avon Lady and now there is a restraining order to keep him indoors. But that is not all. The Avon Lady wants him to be put to sleep! (Mommy says that is when you take a nap and never wake up!!) His owner went to court this past Tuesday, but they have to go back next week.

Everyone in the area has been very supportive of Lewis. He has his own site on myspace www.myspace.com/lewisthecrazycat , SAVE LEWIS t-shirts are being sold and people have been sending in letters. Please visit his site. There are pictures (He is so cute, how can he have done anything wrong??) and links to other newspaper articles.
Mommy says what is happening to Lewis is unfair and something should be done to help! If this could happen to him, it could happen to any kitty!! So we say KITTIES UNITE!!
We must help SAVE LEWIS!!!

HES A VERY PRETTY POODY.
SOME BEANS NEED GETTING SOMETIMES TO KEEP THEM IN LINE. AND HE WAS TIRED OF THE AVON LADY SOLICITING SCHMAYBE.
SHE IS AN OBVIOUS HATER OF CATS AND SCHMAYBE HE SMELT THAT ALSO.

That's so sad! We haves to keep them from doing that to Lewis!
Poor Lewis. If I were his owner, I would probably look for a nice country home where he wouldn't have to deal with Avon ladies and unfriendly folks. Maybe she could put him on an "underground railroad" and tell everyone he disappeared...
